Downloading and Reinstalling the App
The Android TaskRabbit app has been updated, so you will need to be sure to update your phone with the latest app in order to continue to use TaskRabbit.
The TaskRabbit app is available in the App Store or Google Play, so please download the latest version from there. Be sure to click the link directly from your mobile device.
Android Client App: You need Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) or later.
General Troubleshooting on Android:
If you encounter an issue with your TaskRabbit app, doing a "reset" can often fix the problem.
Follow these steps to "reset" your TaskRabbit app.
- Fully log in and out of the TaskRabbit app.
- Restart your mobile device.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app from your phone if the logout option does not work.
Troubleshooting Push Notifications
If you're not receiving push notifications, the first thing you should do is check the notification settings in your device. The settings that control your push notifications are found within your mobile device, not in the TaskRabbit app.
Android push notification settings will differ by device. Please consult your user manual for your device to make sure push notifications are set properly.
