Taskrabbit has partnered with Shift to offer same and next day delivery service from IKEA stores across the UK. This service is currently available in the Lakeside, Warrington, and Birmingham stores.
To book your delivery:
- After purchasing your goods in-store, click here and enter your postal code.
- Select delivery from the dropdown menu and click “Get Help Today”
- You’ll be redirected to our partner, Shift’s, website to complete your booking, where you’ll be asked to select your products, select your delivery choice, and pay.
- Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation via SMS and email. You can track your driver via the link in your confirmation message.
- If you’d also like to book an assembly service, you can do this on the tracking screen in the Book Assembly section.
How it works:
- You can have your products delivered from IKEA on the same day of your booking, but please note: Taskrabbit furniture assembly will be available the next day.
- Shift will update you on the progress of your delivery via SMS. You’ll receive a delivery window once your driver sets off from the store.
- If you’re not in during this delivery window, your goods will be returned to the store and you will have to rebook your delivery.
If your items are damaged, incorrect or missing, or you missed your delivery please reach out to Shift customer support by clicking here, and they’ll be able to best assist you. In the event you missed your delivery, they’ll be able to rebook or cancel your delivery.
