If something went wrong during your task, we’re here to help. You can report the issue and request a resolution through our Taskprotect policy. Terms and Conditions apply.
Filing a claim is the first step, and it allows us to begin working on your case. To file a claim:
- Sign in to your Taskrabbit account
- Navigate to the My Tasks section
- Select a Task by clicking See task details
- Scroll down to the footer titled Need Help?
- If your task qualifies for a claim, a Start a Claim link will appear, and this will prompt you to complete the required information.
When submitting a claim, be sure to include the following information:
- The email address associated with your account
- The Tasker’s name
- A short description of what happened
- Photo evidence showing the damage or concern
- Your estimated cost to fix or resolve the issue
Note: if the fix may require a third party (e.g., plumber, cleaner, contractor):
- Provide a third party quote or cost estimate. A quote is required if the fix is estimated to be over £250. If you do not have access to a quote or estimate yet, you can still submit your report - just note that you’ll need to send it later.
Once this information is submitted, we will work with you and your Tasker to gather any additional information needed to move forward with a resolution.
Please note: if your task is not eligible for a claim or a claim has already been submitted, you’ll see a message that says: “This task is not eligible for a claim because it is over 30 days old or has not been paid.”
Claims must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the task. Claims submitted after thirty (30) days are not eligible for Taskprotect. For more information about eligible claims, review our Taskprotect Terms and Conditions. One claim may be submitted per task.
After you submit your claim, our team will review the details and evidence you provide. If the issue is eligible for resolution in accordance with our Taskprotect Terms & Conditions, we’ll communicate our resolution to you by email.
We’re committed to making things right if a task doesn’t go as expected. If you ever feel unsure about how to proceed, just reach out - we’re here to help.
