For certain General Marketplace tasks booked on the web, an upfront deposit of one hour of the task time is charged right after booking. This deposit helps secure your booking. If a one-hour deposit applies to your task, it will be disclosed during the booking process.
Here’s what happens after your task is completed:
- If the task costs more than the deposit, we’ll charge for the additional time. This will show up as an additional charge on your card.
- If it’s exactly the same, then you're all set. No additional charge needed.
Your final invoice will be processed 24 hours after the task invoice is submitted, and any adjustments will happen then.
