Why do IKEA tasks come directly to my app?
When a Client books an IKEA Assembly task, eligible Taskers will automatically receive these tasks directly in the app based on their calendar availability and where they have set their maps. When you receive an IKEA task in your app, it will automatically be yours with no need to respond within a certain time.
Additionally, next-day tasks or larger assemblies that are in need of assignment may be sent via email to eligible Taskers. These emails will come from our Fulfillment team directly to your inbox. Simply review and reply as soon as you can!
What is the difference between invitations that come through the app vs. email?
We send available tasks through email for tasks that are due to be completed soon or that might call for multiple Taskers to complete. These can be next-day tasks, team tasks, or even tasks that take place over multiple days. Please be sure to check your email daily to see if any of these tasks match your map and availability!
How can I receive more IKEA tasks?
There are multiple factors in your control when it comes to how many IKEA tasks you can receive in any given week:
- To receive a task, the task must first be within your map area.
- IKEA demand is strong outside of downtown and city centers. Consider adjusting your map to capture those suburban areas and beyond!
- The time a task takes place must fall within your schedule. Since IKEA Clients tend to book their tasks far in advance (as they’re often waiting for the items to be delivered), Consider setting your schedule for at least the next seven days to receive those tasks.
- Finally, you will only receive tasks if you’ve indicated that you are available to respond in your app.
