How is the price of my assembly calculated?
The items quoted when booking will be upfront, and the prices will be at a flat rate per item, based on the quantity and types of items to be assembled.
How do I pay my Tasker once the task is completed?
Clients pay Taskers via third-party payment service processors (PSP) incorporated into the TaskRabbit platform The entire payment process, including reimbursements, is handled securely online by the PSP after a task is completed.
Before your task is booked, you will be prompted to enter a credit or debit card. We ask for your billing information when you're booking your task to verify your identity and to validate your card for payment to your Tasker.
TaskRabbit’s PSPs accept all major credit and debit cards. You will not be asked to pay for the task until 24 hours after your task has been successfully completed, leaving you time to review the pending invoice and ensure accuracy.
There's no need for cash to change hands, as we are a cashless platform. Once your Tasker has finished your task, they'll submit the number of hours worked plus any agreed upon expenses. Reimbursements do not include tips.
