What Are Client Satisfaction Ratings?

We’ve introduced Private Satisfaction Ratings to the Client app, which is a discreet way for Clients to leave feedback on tasks that will not impact Taskers’ public star rating.

Here’s how it works:

After your task, Clients are asked to rate their satisfaction level and share feedback explaining their rating. Taskrabbit receives this feedback privately, and we use it to help enhance the app and user experience.

We want to ensure you're supported with this update, so we've compiled answers to some frequently asked questions below:

Will these private satisfaction ratings affect the public client reviews that appear on my Tasker profile?

  • No, they do not contribute to your public star rating, and they will not appear on your profile or Performance Dashboard, at this time.

How can I access private satisfaction ratings?

  • If you complete enough tasks, you may receive email updates from Taskrabbit with curated insights on your strengths and areas for improvement from your ratings. 

Will I be able to see feedback for each task I complete? 

  • Not currently. The feedback will remain private to encourage clients to leave their honest opinions about their experience. We will be sharing overall insights using the average of your completed tasks in any emails you receive from us.

Will private satisfaction ratings impact my metrics?

  • Not right now, but they may be considered as the platform evolves. 

Will every Client leave a private satisfaction rating?

  • Ratings and reviews are optional. As a reminder, we recommend only asking Clients for ratings once, in your post-task chat message.

What are the benefits for Taskers?

  • Private ratings offer valuable insights.
  • Knowing what you’re doing well (and what you can improve upon) is half the battle! 
  • Client satisfaction ratings can help you refine the quality of your service.
  • More tasking opportunities, as happy Clients can lead to repeat bookings and more available tasks overall.
