What is the Difference between Pre-Paid and Post-Paid IKEA Tasks?

Clients can now pay IKEA Assembly tasks either in-store or IKEA.ca! These tasks are confirmed automatically for clients and have set pricing.
All you need to do is confirm the date, time, and details via chat and submit your invoice once the task is complete.


Prepaid jobs can be booked in-store at IKEA or on IKEA.ca when the customer purchases their assembly directly from IKEA.
Prepaid tasks cannot be modified by Taskrabbit, items can only be removed by IKEA customer support once the task is booked.

That being said, you still need to submit an invoice when the Tasks are completed in order to get paid. Check your app for a “prepaid” indicator to find out what type of task it is. 

For all jobs coming from www.taskrabbit.ca/IKEA, tasks can not be modified by Taskrabbit. The payment process and task navigation remain the same as it’s always been.

If it’s a prepaid task, Taskers can still contact Taskrabbit Support. However, if your client needs any help with tasks prepaid through IKEA, your client will need to contact IKEA customer support.
