Once a task is completed, your Tasker will invoice for hours worked plus any agreed-upon expenses. Your payment will then be automatically charged within 24 hours of the invoice being submitted.
There's no need for cash to change hands, as we're a cashless platform.
Clients pay Taskers through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. The entire payment process, including reimbursements, is handled securely through Stripe using the payment method you entered when booking.
To change your payment method in the app:
- Click "Profile" in the bottom navigation bar
- Click "Payment" from the list
- Choose your new payment option if prompted, otherwise, click on your existing payment method and input your new info
- Click "save"
To change your payment method on the TaskRabbit website:
- Log into your account
- Click "Account" in the upper right-hand corner
- Click "Billing Info"
- Choose your payment option if prompted, otherwise, enter your new card info and click "save"
