Security of Personal Information
Taskers undergo an extensive vetting process before they can join our community. Every Tasker must pass an identity check and is screened for criminal offenses. This background check collects information from national, global, and sex offender databases. In addition, before tasking, new Taskers attend a 2 hour orientation to learn the best practices for success on the TaskRabbit platform. In short, we share knowledge of what creates a great task so that they can deliver safe and superior experiences.
TaskRabbit Happiness Pledge
Should any issues occur on a task, our implemented 7.5% Trust and Support fee allows us to offer all Users the Taskrabbit Happiness Pledge. Please note this Pledge is secondary insurance to any insurance or policies you already have in place. These would include medical insurance coverage, renter’s insurance, homeowner’s insurance or an umbrella policy (“Personal Insurance”). In addition, all issues must be reported to us within 14 days of the action giving rise to the claim. For more information, please visit the Happiness Pledge page.
Dispute Resolution Process
To file a complaint concerning damages, injuries or invoice disputes, please contact our Customer Support Team via live chat, phone or email. If you have any relevant documentation, such as pictures or receipts, we ask that you please submit them as they will be required to complete your claim. Note that our Team strives to resolve all issues within 5 business days, but if more time is needed we will let you know.
