How Do I Reimburse My Tasker For Expenses?

On tasks that allow expenses, Taskers can add approved expenses to the reimbursements section of their invoice.  To promote price transparency and protect our community from fraud, there is an expense limit of $100

Keep in mind:

  • Taskers are independent contractors, so each will have their own personal limits on how much they can spend.
  • Reimburse your Tasker through the invoice and never in cash. For your protection, all payments should go through the Taskrabbit app. Taskrabbit is not responsible for disputes that may arise from off-platform payments.
  • Taskers must include a photo of the receipt in the chat thread as proof of the expense.
  • Expenses are not permitted on non-hourly tasks, such as fixed pricing or pre-paid pricing tasks. This includes IKEA tasks and other Taskrabbit Partner tasks with fixed pricing.
  • If a Task can't be completed due to expenses in excess of the limit, you may prepay for the items and ask a Tasker to deliver them.
