Clients requiring a Tasker with a vehicle will be routed into either Truck Assisted Help Moving or Full Service Help Moving.
With this change, vehicle surcharges will no longer be necessary. Accordingly, to ensure a positive User experience, Taskers on the Taskrabbit platform in Help Moving, Truck Assisted Help Moving, Full Service Help Moving, Errands, Trash/Furniture Removal, and Heavy Lifting and Loading categories should refrain from adding vehicle surcharges to their profiles or engaging in discussions, through the task chat or otherwise, with Clients regarding such surcharges. Taskrabbit will proactively monitor for violations.
Any attempt to add vehicle surcharges will result in the removal of the text and may lead to the suspension of the Tasker from appearing in Client Recommendations.
The Help Moving and Heavy Lifting and Loading categories will be limited to moving tasks not requiring a Tasker-provided vehicle. Truck Assisted Help Moving and Full Service Help Moving will require a large vehicle such as a pickup truck, van, box truck, or trailer and the Tasker should include the cost of use of the vehicle in their hourly rate.
