If you’re a licensed electrician in Texas and want to showcase your credentials to clients, you can now add a Licensed Electrician badge to your Tasker profile. This badge will help boost your visibility and increase your chances of getting hired in the Electrical Help category.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Licensed Electrician badge, you'll need to meet the following criteria:

Licensed in Texas – You need to have a valid electrician license issued by the state of Texas.
For now, the Licensed Electrician badge is available to Taskers in these Texas metros only:- San Antonio
- Houston
- Austin
- Dallas

Verified License – Your license needs to be valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission and needs to match your legal Tasker name.
- For example, if you submit your license for verification on January 1, 2025, and it expires on April 1, 2025, you won’t be eligible for verification. You can re-submit your license once it’s renewed and valid for 6 months.
- The name on your license must match the name on your Tasker profile.
How to Submit Your License for Verification
- Check License Validity: Before submitting your license number, make sure it's valid for at least 6 months from your submission date.
- Submit Your License: Go to this verification link to submit your Electrician’s license number for review.
- Wait for Notification: Once we verify your license, we'll add the badge to your profile and send you a notification — usually within a few weeks.
What Happens After You’re Verified?
Once your badge is live on your profile, here’s what you need to know:

Keep the Same Profile Photo: The badge will only remain on your profile photo as long as you keep the same profile photo. If you update your profile photo after receiving the badge, the badge will be removed.
- If you decide to update your profile photo, you’ll need to resubmit your Electrician’s license to have the badge reinstated.
