How Do I Update My Taxpayer Information for the 1099-K Form?

Taskers who are eligible to receive a 1099-K form will need to verify the accuracy of their tax information by updating their information through the Business Information page in the web or Tasker app. 

To update your tax information, visit the Business Information web page of your Tasker account and click “Update Info.” You will be redirected to a secure Stripe portal where you can make updates to your taxpayer information.

Individual Tasker accounts will need to verify the following information: 

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Social Security Number (SSN) 
  • Personal Address

Business Tasker accounts will need to verify the following information: 

Please Note: It is important that you enter your information exactly as it appears on your government-issued identification documents (e.g., drivers license, birth certificate, etc.) including spaces, hyphens, and capitalization. For example, if your first name is “John-Doe” be sure to include the hyphen as written with no spaces between John-Doe. 

Failure to enter your personal identification information accurately may cause your 1099-K form to be rejected by the IRS.
